ASBBA Tournament.

 

Congratulations to all the fighters and to Antonio for putting on a nice friendly tournament. For as chief instructor it was a pleasure to see the fighters from our school showing good sportsmanship and great skill in testing out newly trained skills.

 

Everyone had great focus and timing which is a skill that we have being training for the past month.

 

Congratulations to Ryan Davies who for the first time fought in the adult section and took 3rd place, he also did not let the occasion get to him and kept a cool head.

 

Lauren & Leah Goodhand fought their best fights so far and scored with a great variation of techniques.

 

It was good to see Luke Bishop competing in outside tournaments and taking 3rd place losing only to team mate Jack Mcknight who in turn only lost to fellow team mate Daniel Lowe who won the category. Also best fight for Charlotte Upton so far taking 3rd place. James Whitehouse easily taking 1st place showing great speed. Zac Smith taking 2nd place losing by only one point and Adam Mcgrath taking 3rd Zac.

 

Libby Smith taking 3rd place. Runner up was Ben Wooldridge who just missed out but came off a great win and Steve Legere’s tournament last month. (get them next time Ben). 2nd place to Chloe Goodhand. Nice gang and a big thank you to all the parents once again for their support.
